The first ever fundraiser for JP is Nov 14th 2015.  JP is praying for God to identify the direction to grow in 2015 and 2016.  This fundraiser is the Alumni's chance to participate in creating the next chapter in the JP story.  Join us on November 14th at La Jolla Christian Fellowship or online YouTube stream as we begin the event at 7pm.  Swing by or tune in online.  

Well, here is some overdue news.  JP has been formed as a corp in CA and with the IRS.  JP has a bank account, business license and PayPal account to accept donations.  The Board of Directors has approved the initial draft of the ByLaws and Mission Statement.  Over the next month JP will be applying for 501(c)3 status as a non-profit with the IRS.  Once approved JP will file with the state of CA and be legally operating as a non-profit.  This is all part of taking the organization to the next level.  Soon JP will have a small staff of employees and donors will have tax deductible donations.  That is all good and well but what does that translate into at the human level.  Well, Women's JP ("WJP") is starting this fall along with several projects for the men.  JP may be expanding to multi-state.  All this logistical support will enable the ministry to serve more men and women as they mature their identity as leaders for Christ in their home, church, work place and community.

Bryce is killing the JP podcast.  Check our the podcast page here:  http://www.joshuaproject.community/podcast.html.  If your on a mobile device check it out here:  http://podcast.joshuaproject.community/mobile/.  The first podcast has had over 120 plays and the second podcast has had over 20 plays in the first 12 hours since it was posted.  That is awesome.  JP is so proud of Bryce and his service.  There are few people as passionate as Bryce to reach more men for Christ. His shepherds heart shines in these podcasts.  Not to mention how professional they sound.  God is sending Bryce from a little home office in Oceanside, CA to the entire world.  It just doesn't get any better than that.  May God use this for His glory!

Oh, and happy birthday JP website!  December 26th 2014 the site went live over the Christmas holiday.  For the men of JP it really is a wonderful present to have the community have a site, podcast and soon a non-profit to get behind to reach more men for Christ.  

Happy New Year!  Wow, 2015 is going to be an amazing year for JP.  We have a board of directors, website, phone number, business account  and are working on forming the non-profit.  All this is to give JP the footing to serve more men.  Check the site for the minutes from the first board meeting on January 6th 2015.  JP is growing up as an organization.  This will be the first year JP does fundraising.  JP will also begin to have alumni events and a project for women (more on that in a future post).  So 2015 is going to be an amazing year as JP puts his big-boy-pants on and becomes better, faster and stronger.  

Tomorrow is a new year.  JP is super excited to enter the new year with a new site for our domain joshuaproject.community, a new phone number (JOS) HUA-0107 and a formal Board of Directors (BoD).  The BoD will be meeting on January 6th to kick off the new year.  We are hoping to record that meeting and post it as a blog entry.  JP will soon be a formal non-profit and will be able to accept tax deductible donations.  JP is also excited to build all this new corporate infrastructure holding firm to the principles of transparency, trust and Love of God.  Keep a look our on our non-profit links as we post online our formal vision statement, articles of incorporation, bylaws, financial reports, meeting notes and more.  JP is excited to do business openly and transparently.  Keeping the focus on ministry doing all this business stuff transparently and openly.  Hopefully more alumni see this as a ministry opportunity and get involved in the running of JP.  God bless you and have a great New Year!

Merry Christmas 2014.  JP community site goes live.  Expect more exciting news to show up here.  JP is growing up:  new web address, blog, podcast, ect.  JP is also in the process of forming a non-profit and recognize it members.  If you have graduated from a Project then you are a member.  However, until now there hasn't been a formal way to connect online.  This is the place.  JP is super excited and look for more to come in the following weeks and months.
